Jeffrey is a Columbia University trained psychotherapist, an active neighborhood citizen, and a t-shirt satirist. He brings a passion for service to the real estate profession that augments his background in real estate investments, remodeling and marketing. Jeffrey Kerekes believes in active involvement in his local community. He has served as a volunteer fireman, reader to the blind, assistant scout master, and community mediator. He is a board member of the New Haven Citizens Action Network, a grassroots group he helped create to hold the City of New Haven to higher standards, and he has successfully encouraged others in the community to become more engaged in the civic process. Jeffrey was appointed to the City's Financial Review and Audit Commission and awarded Best New Haven Watchdog Group by the New Haven Advocate. His volunteer efforts focus on closing the achievement gap, as well as insisting on accountability, transparency, financial sustainability and walkability in the Elm City.
